Jammies

Founded in 2000, WYCE Jammie Awards is an annual celebration of the year’s best Michigan music. WYCE’s programming staff votes to determine the winners of Best Album of the Year, Best New Artist, and a number of genre categories. The Jammies ceremony brings together performances by more than 20 local bands on two stages for a night of music, fun, and charity

How It Works

Who is nominated?

Regional bands who submit an album to WYCE and who are added to the WYCE library are considered for Jammie nominations. For album submission information, click here.

What is the submission period?

Albums added to the WYCE library between December 1st through November 30th will be in consideration for the following February awards show.

Who votes?

WYCE programmers vote for their favorites.

Can Listeners Vote?

Yes. In January, listeners may vote for the Listener Choice Awards, currently presented in two categories: Best New Artist and Album of the Year.
